Thicken Wood

I peer into the thicken wood
I see a path appear
It leads me to a gentle place
that wisps away all fear

Open mind with open view
I glance around and see
The birds above do sing a song
to set my troubles free

The ferns they sway in melody
The flowers stretch their steams
The sunlight sparkles all around
and dances down tree limbs

The rabbit stops and looks at me
and strokes his long soft ear
He takes a drink from running stream
without a thought or care

I smile and whisper to myself
so peaceful is this place
I take a breath let out a sigh
with sunlight on my face

I close my eyes and breathe the air
I smell the pure fresh dew
so peaceful is this place I've found
I'd thought I'd share with you

I feel the peace grow deep inside
it lights my every being
Within the thoughts of thicken wood
My life has greater meaning

Peaceful Stream

There in the mist of darken woods
Lies a peaceful stream
Quenching Imaginations
With a place to dream...

Beckoning me to the creek
You reach out your hand
Timidly, we move forward
And we understand...

Waltzing winds trace between us
Candled flame grows high
Limbs bow to force of power
Leaves whisper soft sigh

Musical ebbs of water
Swirl 'round soaking in
Piano lilts through our veins
Seeping calm within

Wading feet feel cool relief
From reality
Our spirits now join as one
For entirety...

Immersed throughout in passion
Water soothes our hearts
Quietly submerging deep
Blissful silence starts

Rising to waters surface
Our eyes meet in glee
Treading in our stream of love
As one...we're set free

There in the mist of darkened woods
Lies a peaceful stream
Quenching imaginations
With a place to dream...
